Tailored Trainings for Organizations
The Immigrant Resource Center of Maine has been providing trainings to providers, educating community members and serving communities for the past 15 years.
We are an organization that offers cultural awareness & considerations trainings, domestic violence & sexual assault workshops and provides all sorts of educational and informative materials that help and better equip our partners and our recipients. We serve communities and agencies in the Androscoggin, Cumberland, York and Kennebec counties.
We would like to learn more about your training needs. We want all our communities to be connected and united and one way to do that is to know how to help one another. For our partner agencies and other service providers, we can help you continue breaking the barriers that hinder the New Mainer community from accessing your services.
Here is the link to our Training Needs Survey. We look forward to your responses and hopefully we get the chance to work together. Thank you!
Foundational Trainings for Organizations
Are you interested in taking part in our upcoming Multicultural Series Workshops to learn more about the different groups represented in our communities today? In these trainings, we cover topics concerning the New Mainer community, their backgrounds, experiences, the differences in the culture they’re coming with vs. the new culture they’re encountering in the U.S. and many other topics.
