The IRCM is passionate about bridging the gap between our immigrant and refugee community members and Mainers. It's vital to make sure our most vulnerable community members feel supported and treated equally within their new home. We do this by serving as mediators, facilitators, interpreters, and other roles to ensure our community members access services and assistance. On the other hand, it's essential to make sure public institutions, like the court system, have the culturally-specific tools and knowledge to help New Mainers thrive and receive fair treatment based on their unique needs. Our work towards this cause is at the core of what drives us to continue working in the community.
